The PDA Group traces its origins back to 1956, when Isaac Arbeid started a wholesale business in watches and clocks from his home on Jekerstraat in Amsterdam. He sold watches under the brand name Olympic and clocks under the brands Haid and Hermle through jewelers. Since 1986, the second generation has taken over, and I. Arbeid Uurwerken is now part of the PDA Group, which includes industry-related companies.
As a family business, our passion and love for watches and jewelry are deeply rooted, with continuity, commitment, loyalty, collaboration, flexibility, and innovation being our core values.
In 2021, we were one of the three nominees for the Zaanse Ondernemersprijs and received the Zaanse Youth Award. We were particularly proud that it was the youth who awarded us this prize and praised our personnel policy in the jury report.
The third generation is now working within the company and exploring whether they wish to continue the business in the future. Over the past few years, we have grown into a leading player in the mid-segment of the jewelry industry and work closely with several online providers of watches and jewelry.
The PDA Group is led by Paul Arbeid, son of Isaac Arbeid, and Jacqueline Stad, who has been a member of the executive board since 2016.

HSC Nederland
HSC Nederland BV is a leading repair workshop for watches and jewelry, where approximately 100 different watch brands are serviced by skilled watchmakers.
I. Arbeid Uurwerken BV
I. Arbeid Uurwerken BV manufactures watches and wall clocks for the B2B market, which are customized with company names and/or logos.
